Dr. Van der Merwe explains what she is doing at every step. You are in control: raise your hand at any time to pause. Digital X-rays are taken only when clinically necessary.

Your Treatment Plan and Receipt

After the appointment you receive a written treatment plan with costs (including what your medical aid is expected to cover), a medical aid tax certificate, and a follow-up reminder via WhatsApp when your next checkup is due.

We provide a written cost estimate before any procedure begins. The amount you pay depends on your medical aid plan, whether your savings account (MSA) is available, and the treatment required. Many routine procedures (checkups, cleans, fillings) are covered from your MSA on most schemes. We are transparent about gap amounts from the first conversation.
We understand. Dental anxiety is extremely common and you will not be judged for it. We use topical numbing gel before any injection, a gentle computer-controlled wand anaesthetic, and we explain each step before we do it. You are in full control and can pause at any moment by raising your hand.
Yes. Dr. Anri van der Merwe holds a BDS from the University of Cape Town (UCT) and is registered with the HPCSA (Registration No. 0147832). She is also a current member of the South African Dental Association (SADA). You can verify her registration on the HPCSA online register at hpcsa.co.za.
Routine checkups are typically available within 3 to 5 working days. If you are in pain or have a dental emergency, WhatsApp us immediately and we will do our best to see you the same day or next morning. Saturday morning slots are available for working patients.
Absolutely. You do not need a referral to see a general dentist. Simply book online using our booking widget, call us on 021 761 0843, or send a WhatsApp. If your situation requires a specialist (orthodontist, oral surgeon, or periodontist), we will refer you and coordinate the handover.
